I am thinking of buying a mercury outboard that weighs 41# and would like to cruise with it mounted on the aft stbd pulpit. the fasteners are solid as is the railing. Any experience with such an installation on F32?

It will take a long shaft to reach the water from there!

My 3.3HP weighs only 24 lbs. It is steady on a teak square through any conditions.
When I swing over to the ladder it seems rather sturdy.

Oh...and an aft "pullpit" is actually a "pushpit" though no one ever seems to refer to them as such.

I also think so.
