Steering Cable Issues Pedrick F35
I own a '94 vintage Pedrick 35 - so far this season, my steering cables have come loose/fallen off twice...both times while on the mooring...never while sailing...I repaired the first time with a skinny dock attendant (yes, I can fit - barely - but my fingers were too...uh, fat)...Yard checked it out and declared A-OK...then it happened again...so I am having them come over and do a complete inspection/repair - hopefully this is it. Owned the boat 8 years, never a problem...now I am nervous leaving the harbor. Anyone else out there have similar issues? A fix or two that might be helpful? Thanks...
