Transmission Identification

Post by Tom »

I have a new to me 83 Freedom 39 Pilot House schooner and have not been able to identify the Hurth model or series that is connected to the Perkins 4-108, does anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks,

Tom

There is a plate on the transmission with a stamped number on it. Mine says HBW 125 263. which means Hurth-Borg Warner type 125, reduction 2.63:1.

There is no identification plate on my transmission. Based on shape, I feel its a hurth but do not know the model. Could anyone with a PH 39 and Perkins 4-108 contact me at 919-920-3823.

Thanks
