Folks,
Purchased an F32 2 years ago, and have been sailing it with the standard camber spar head sail (jib). However, the boat did come with 2 larger, more typical head sails (a 110 and a triradial drifter (code 0)). Due to missing genoa cars, am just getting around to resolving this issue and contemplating the use of these larger head sails. Before I do so, thought I would query the list for people's experiences, thoughts on the use of these types of sails on the Mull designed sloop rigs. Some things of particular interest include: sailing characteristics, help/hinder pointing ability, light/medium/heavy winds, etc.? Thoughts?

I just added a lengthy reply to "Norfolk" on this topic. Check that out.

Mark,
Thanks for the reply. Validates my decision to get the additional head sails operative. Last question I guess is whether you think the larger head sails would be any help re: pointing ability?
Thanks, Jim
