GUN MOUNT

Post by Zengirl »

Gun Mount not for sale anymore. I was told it will have an impact on the selling price of the boat should I ever want to do that. I tried to find a way to delete it, but couldn't. I don't know how to find a moderator to ask them to do it. Is this site hard to maneuver around or am I just not used to it yet?

Hello Zengirl, is this a complete set up consisting of the mount, 18' pole with blocks, spinnaker and sock?

Not sure as I have never taken it apart. Sorry, it's not for sale anymore. I've been told it will affect the price of the boat should I ever decide to sell it.

Hi, I'm John, bosun with the Bay Area Association for Disabled SAilors (BAADS). We just got a Freedom 21 donated to us. We are looking for a gun mount and spinnaker pole. We have everything else. Anyone know where we can get one? Or does anyone have specs so we can get it all made? Thanks!

John, I have an F30 in the bay area She has a gun mount. The mount is off the boat so I could let you have a detailed look at it and associated pole. I have a pretty good rigging guide as well. Give me a call at - five zero five four five zero one seven one six - and we can discuss how to arrange for you to inspect the parts. You could easily downsize for the 21.

Awesome! Was this the F21 that was at Brisbane? Isn't this the second F21 that your group has? I recall racing against one when I did the SBYC Friday Night series a couple of years ago. It would be amazing if you got enough of a fleet to make your own start division on the bay. Can you use any old Raymarine equipment I've taken off my F38? It was still working when I rpelaced it. Just let me know.

Hi guys, thanks for your replies. Mike I'm definitely interested! I will call you this coming week.

We have a Freedom 20 at BAADS, it is very similar but heavier and has more cockpit room, and was specially designed for adaptive sailing.
