Looking for a F32 spinnaker

Post by JohnReinagel »

Does anyone have an F32 (Garry Hoyt) spinnaker that they wish to sell?

I've now used the gun mount set up with great success but the old spin that came with it has blown up this past weekend. I was hoing to get the rest of the season out of it as using it adds a considerable amount of fun-factor to the boat and it is quite simple to use. I have been leaving most of the set up in place and to use it ony takes about 10 minutes to prep it, so I found myself using it more than expected, singlehanded every time even.

Jim, two attempts at sending you a PM, both sit in my outbox. I'm uncertain as to why.

It would be great to have the dimensions of the spinnaker if anyone has them.

I am thinking of having one made as mine is on its last leg as well. One good puff and it is going to shred, but it sure is fun to ride.

Thanks,

Note that PMs sit in your outbox until the recipient reads them.

Apparently the original F32 spinnakers are getting too long in the tooth. I blew mine out as well. I have a 32 rig on a my F30 and although it is fantastic set up, it is currently spinnaker-less. I am interested in a replacement also so if someone else happens to have one for sale please advise.

Hi Mike,

I ended up ordering a new spinnaker from from Precision Sails, it is due to be delivered in March. Since I'm in the NE I would get to try her until May or June depending on when I splash after some deck and window work. So far dealing with them has been good. I'll let you know how it all works out once it's received and flown.
