Mine are staggered and match the j/24. Maybe yours aren't original or they used different kinds at different times.

Re: Offshore Downwind with Gunmount Spinnaker
When I was a kid (7 or 8)I always wanted my dad to fly the spinnaker. He never did because it was usually just the two of us and it was too difficult. That's the single reason I bought my F21! I can't stop smiling every time I fly the spinnaker single handed. Definitely get a sock made it's worth it...

Re: freedom 21 mast exit block
It's a harken through deck block. Double check the size, but if my notes are correct it should be this, https://www.harken.com/en/shop/small-boat-classic-292/38-mm-through-deck-big-bullet-block/ you don't use the black plastic trim piece. You need to drill out the rivets on the stainless steel strap...

Re: Freedom 21 spinnaker sock/tube
new2u , I actually asked the same question a while back. https://freedomyachts.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=12044&p=47343#p47343 Not a big sample size, but it seems people do it both ways. Right now I have it running in the back. If you look at the video on youtube it seems like the line goes to the fron...

Re: Freedom 21 spinnaker sock/tube
Ian, I just noticed you're missing two lines that move the yard in and out. Not absolutely necessary but nice to have. Look here to see how you run them https://web.archive.org/web/20170207203926/http://freedom21.info/f21commission.pdf Looks like you don't have the ring in the stainless steel tube s...

Re: Freedom 21 spinnaker sock/tube
Awesome! I love the look of a sailboat under spinnaker. Since I single hand a lot, one of my main reasons for buying a Freedom was how easy it is to fly the spinnaker!

Re: Silicone around mast boot?
Interesting... so if your mast doesn't go all the way down into the cabin then it's definitely not like the pictures with the a-frame. Here's a picture of my "knee" (sorry I don't have any other closer shots) mast.png It looks like yours has it too. Theoretically it's possible for one person to do i...
