Anyone know the weight of a F25 wing mast?
Hi, I have an F25 with a wing mast and it's time to pull the mast for painting and replacing the wiring and sheaves. I've got a few questions to help my planning. How much does the F25 wing mast weigh? Relative to the deck where is the center of mass of the mast? I have to make sure the lifting line...

Yarrow,
You have another PM about the table. Also can you post or send me pictures of the F25 rudders, if you still have them.

Re: Amsteel blue lazy jacks
Unless you bought 'pre-stretched' line, dyneema single braid always has a little "construction stretch" when first loaded up as the braid tightens. That's one of the reasons new line is easier to splice than old line that's been heavily loaded. I wouldn't worry too much about chafe with dyneema, but...

Tiller conversion on a Mull F30
Anyone out there every remove the wheel and pedestal from a Gary Mull designed Freedom 30 and replaced them with a permanently installed tiller? Any gotchas you learned about in the process? I'm thinking about moving up from an F25 to an F30, but I'm hard wired for a tiller. I imagine I'll need to f...

Jib Boom for Mull F30
Has anyone replace the CamberSpar on Gary Mull designed F30 Cat-Sloop (or an F32) with a Hoyt Jib Boom? I know a new (or at least re-cut) sail would be required, but I'm looking an good hull with older sails that are near the end of life. I like the Mull designed hull shape and interior of the F30, ...

Wondering about a F25 outboard to inboard conversion
I have a Freedom 25 with an outboard and am starting to think about refitting a diesel inboard.
Has anyone already done this? Any suggestions as to the best way to proceed.

F25 Sliding Hatch fittings
The cockpit hatch on my Freedom 25 slides in a pair of white plastic U channels, about 3/4" X 3/4" on the outside. Counter sunk screws and bedding compound hold them in place. A combination of age, UV and misplaced feet cracked off pieces up the upper surface and has me looking to replace them. Does...

Re: freedom 25 rigging question
A Melges 24 main is close in P, E and sail area; but you already knew that.
You lose the benefits of full battens and the draft may be too far aft, but if it's cheap go for it and let us know how it works.
