Re: refrigeration for F32
My F32 has an Adler Barbour air cooled system in the aft corner of the dinette seat. It is air cooled, and there are vents top and bottom to allow air circulation; the one on top I need to keep an eye on since guests like to set things on it. There is a thru hull for sea water cooling that I may upg...

Re: Pitch and gear ratio on my 1984 Freedom 32(Hoyt)
I'm happy with the set-up on Timbuktu. I can't take credit; the PO came up with the configuration. I'm happy with speed in both forward and reverse, and she backs out of a slip just fine. The only issue I have is after sailing for a while (I lock the drive shaft by putting the gear selector in rever...

Timbuktu has a Martec two-blade 15 inch diameter by 14 inch pitch, ungeared folding

Re: F 32 Batteries
Timbuktu has two battery banks. One under the companionway steps, and one on the port side under the dinette seat.

Re: iPad
I use Navionics, both here in my home waters in SF Bay, and I have used on two Mediterranean charters in Turkey in 2011 and the French Riviera this year. I use the Bad Elf GPS chip with my iPad for location (the iPad is a wireless only version).

Curtains in a F32
As promised in another thread, attached are pictures of how the curtains in my F32 Hoyt are attached. I did not install the curtains; they were in the boat when I purchased.

Re: LED Cabin Lighting
Thank you! I was amazed at how much light these little LED's put out. I will add that Amazon will offer a dimmer for the LED's. I bought it, it was a piece of junk, did not work, and was returned without any problems. I may invest in a better dimmer at some point; I did the wiring in such a way that...

LED Cabin Lighting
Just thought I would share a couple of pics of my latest project on Timbuktu. I installed LED strip lighting in both the V-berth and the main salon. They are mounted on the reverse side of the trim. Total cost: $52 (I already had wire and connectors and screws on hand from other projects): $28 LED s...

Re: seacock for freedom32
Just to second Bob's solution, the PO did that on my F32 as well. Makes my monthly exercise of those seacocks easier than it would be otherwise.

Re: short stand for saloon table freedom32
My F32 Hoyt did not come with a telescoping table leg or a solid short table leg either. I would also be interested in others have solved this issue and what they used. I have been thinking about cutting a piece of tube the right height for the lower position, but if there is a pre-built telescope k...
