We installed a Lewmar V700 on our 1987 F30, Weeble, and it fits nicely and works well. It may be sacrilegious but looking at drum winches... No sacriledge. I have! Look gorgeous!😍 Re lacing line, doesn't need to be very big, 6 mm is more than enough, and 6-8 loops around the mast would suffice.

Ha I wish. My beta block is stuck in Japan. Once it makes it way to the UK and get assembled it will be enroute to San Francisco. AND once it is there it gets trucked to Alaska.....
