Anchoring
Unlike our prior Freedom 30, our current Pedrick 35 has an anchor locker but no where to attach the bitter end of our anchor line. The 30 had a cleat after the hawse pipe and the bitter end secured below in the V berth anchor locker. The 35 only has cleats port and starboard at the bow. Has anyone e...

Fuel tank “gunk”
This summer we unfortunately allowed the fuel level for our diesel get a little too low and on a good heel sucked crap into the fuel line. Being 30 years old, one would expect some sediment at the bottom. Has anyone had their diesel tank cleaned? Does anyone know of a company that does this in the R...

Mold!!
Seems no matter how much elbow grease applied in the Spring we just can’t seem to get better control of mold. We’re not out frequently enough to keep opening hatches during the season, but when we do get out it’s obvious it’s humid down below. We shrink wrap in the winter and are thinking of opening...

Updating electronics/mast question
The time has come to upgrade all the electronics on “Take Five” and the question asked by installers was would we put the radar on the mast or on a post attached to the stern. We’ve heard various comments regarding drilling holes in the carbon fiber spar and was wondering what other Freedom owners h...

Carbon fiber spar/ cleat
Probably a simple question with similar solution, but I want to attach a nylon cleat to the mast to tie off my pennant halyard. I googled this and found multiple solutions but wish to avoid drilling if possible. Would an adhesive be sufficient, and if so, suggestions on which to consider. Thanks

Re: Freedom 35 winter cover - FREE
I know it’s likely a long shot, but if the other inquiries fell through, I’d be more than glad to drive over and pick it up!

Seeking RIB inflatable
Looking to see if anyone is planning on selling a used but in very good condition inflatable. Preference would be a RIB around 9 feet in length. I live in eastern Massachusetts but sail out of Narragansett Bay so willing to travel if boat located in greater New England area.

Replace batteries
Seems like it’s time to replace my batteries. With all the newer technologies now available, I’m wondering if anyone has some good advice on suitable replacements. Does one buy a cranking battery and a deep cycle or can a deep cycle fill both roles? Any thoughts on the new lithium batteries?

stack packs for Freedom Yachts
We’ve been thoroughly enjoying our Freedom35 but as the years go on, the task of removing then putting sail covers back on has become quite tedious. Has anyone had any experience with a stack pack? Any recommendations on dealers and sail lofts in the Newport, RI area would be appreciated.
