Re: Freedom 32 Continuous reef setup

Thanks for the pix. How did you attach those blocks to the luff and leach cringles? The “less friction” aspect sounds appealing.

Re: Fuel tank “gunk”

Bill and Carole, you are still with us so your story didn’t have a tragic end, but tell us, what transpired after you contacted the coast guard?

Re: F30 New Wind Instrument - Mast Un-Step?

I thought it to be nearly impossible, so opted for the RayMarine wireless wind instrument. After one season, I’m happy with it.

Happy with our Maxprop. Better than some folding props for reversing, it’s been said. I’ve not seen data.

Re: Simplifying camberspar rigging

Sorry Mike, I don’t act understand how the locking pin replaces the bolt and nut. My bolt passes through a washer then one grommet on the sail, then the metal forestay retaining piece with the camberspar block inside it, then the other sail grommet, the last washer and nylock nut. Re: OMG he is talking about the camberspar again and needs help

For what it’s worth. The chord for the camberspar on my Hoyt F32, crudely measured, appears to be 14 inches, when the baseline is the axle of the sheave to the center of the tubing at the aft end of the spar. I think Circle has had a pretty docile sailing history so I’m doubtful the camberspar has b...

Re: Prop Suggestions for 28M

Mark, your prop looks so beautifully clean. Wish mine were likewise. I’ve had disappointing experience with Pettit’s sink prop paint. What do you use, and how?
Thanks
