I have made repairs but there is still some twist in it durning heavy weather. I am looking to replace it but do not want to put out the $800.00...

Re: F21 Traveler Rail.. broken bolts
go to the thread "http://www.freedomyachts.org/viewtopic. ... in+halyard" or just search "Main Halyard". this guy list the Harken block that is used in the mast. You might be able to reach out to him for details on the level of difficulty.

Re: F21 Traveler Rail.. broken bolts
Another common problem. Your pully at the top of the mast is worn really bad or broken in half. Replacement is easy with the mast down and the parts can also be found at the marine store.
These old girls require constant attention but it is worth it.
Good luck.

I took one of my bolts to West Marine and found a replacemt Washer/Nut in their supply. They are expensive due to being stainless but replacement was easy. I gues...

F21 sail cover
I am in need of a replacement sail cover for my Freedom 21. Before I fork over the funds for a new construct I was wondering if anyone had one they wanted to sell. I have seen a few F21's being parted out and just thought. I thought you all would like this peacefull picture of the Tardis all snug at...

Re: Hurricane Sandy
I purchased a Freedom 21 from the Salvage Yard here in NJ. She was not too bad but needed alot of fiberglass work. She turned out real good and I have been happily sailing the Barnegat Bay all summer.
