Of more concern is the balsa core hull. They were well made so could be in good condition, however the Express was made over 30 years ago (starting in the early '80s), so if there has been water ingress there could be a major and expensive amount of work needed done on it. If they are cored like the Freedom 39s, they should be cored to about a foot from the keel, and the thru hulls should be in an area which is only thick glass.

Hello Robinho, I've owned Ketch 22, a Freedom Express, since 97. I am the second owner and I've never seen any electrical diagrams for any F39. I would be interested if you discover any. Probably a long shot, but does anyone have the original wiring diagram for a Freedom 39? I'm 'electrically challenged' so a blueprint of the set up would help immensely.
