Re: Continuous line furling for CC 45

Hi Jason, I had a similar challenge and installed a down haul line that is affixed to the head of the jib and runs freely along the forestay through a block at the tack and then back to the cockpit. I just release the jib halyard and pull in the down haul line and the jib falls nicely onto the cambe...

F32 Lazy Bag for Jib ??

I recently installed a Lazy Bag for my mainsail and I am very please with how well it works. I am now exploring the feasibility of having a lazy bag made for the jib. It would be a bit more complicated, as my jib has four lazy jacks that route though grommets on the bottom of the sail. Has anyone at...

Re: HULL ID

Dale, the USCG sequence changed a little bit in 1985. Your number: 32067A585 equates to: 32 is Model (32'), 067 is the hull # (#67th boat that year), the rest deals with the manufacture date - A = January and 5 = 1985, the last numbers - 85 = the model year 1985. The Freedom manual outlines the old ...

Re: HULL ID

The 689392 number is your USCG Documentation number and has to be affixed to the interior hull. Mine is in the anchor locker in the forward berth. You should also have a USCG Documentation Certificate (from previous owner that transfers ownership). The Documentation Certificate gets renewed every ye...

Shore Power Receptacle - F32

The shore power (30amp) receptacle on my Freedom 32 only conducts power occasionally. It looks like the weight of the shore power cable has effected a tight connection. I tried removing the screws on the receptacle plate and they just spin, I'm guessing they have nuts on the back which complicates t...

Re: F32 Saloon Table??

Thanks to all for your insight - once I knew it was supposed to come off, I became more comfortable using a little more force. I'm pleased to report that after some doses of WD40 coupled with some vigorous twisting and turning it came free.

Thanks again!

F32 Saloon Table??

Hi, I'm a new F32 owner and have half moon saloon table on a pedestal mount. The table top comes off fairly easily (lifts off) and I'm trying to figure out how to remove the pole/pedestal in order to occasionally convert it to a berth. I suspect the previous owner modified the pedestal to make it a ...
