Re: very low water bilge pump

A second thanks for thread and the article posted in response. With all the recent rain here in California and a few small leaks that never trigger the bilge pump in our F33 CK I have been trying to find a way to keep the bilge dry.

F33 CK shower pan drain

During re-plumbing of our F33 CK when trying to replace the drain hose the elbow fitting that is the base of the shower pan broke. I was thinking of just tapping the flange fitting so that I can attache a standard hose-to-thread elbow, but thought I would check if anyone knows where I could just pur...

Re: Freedom 39

Tom, Thanks, that is very helpful and I really appreciate the help. I was trying to determine if I needed shuttle blocks or if I could just run the lines directly through the boom. Thats how I had recently set it up, but was second guessing the decision after looking at the Isomat boom website infor...

Re: Freedom 39

Thanks for posting this. I have a recently purchased Freedom 33 with a "Tall Rig" and when out in 20-25 kts also had significant weather helm, but the reefs are not rigged so its next on the to-do list. Not sure if you have another picture that might provide a description of how the reef lines were ...

Re: Masthead removal

A follow up on my masthead issue from a few weeks ago: the yard was able to fabricate a plate system that bolted to the original aluminum masthead block. Maybe not a perfect solution since there are so many separate connections now, but workable while I work on a location and time to pull the mast.

Re: Masthead removal

Thanks for the welcome, and I am very happy to have found this forum and already appreciate the responses. I have no idea why there is that brass wheel/disc and pin in the aluminum block. I was hoping someone here might have some ideas on why that would be there. The halyard was rigged all external....

Re: Masthead removal

Just joined today and this is my first post. I am a new owner of a Freedom 33 CC, Hull 47 with a tall rig located in Southern California. A few weeks back the halyard, block and sail came down to the deck while sailing. It was a little gusty by not bad. She is in a yard now, and I have attached a pi...
