Re: solar panels stopped working
Either just to confuse things or perhaps because they both have the same lifespan. I always try to remember to look for the simplest explanation though it seems almost human nature to expect the worse case.

Re: FREEDOM YACHT MAST REPAIR
Can anyone tell me how much epoxy I might require to do each mast? Im noy sure if Ill do one or two sock layers, but I'm leaning toward two using the dynel, unless anyone can provide a reason to do one or to use fiberglass. I'd certainly prefer one layer in terms of cost and work involved but Eric S...

Re: is this the same boat ? 33 and 35 f
Yes, the hulls are the same as far as I know but the deck , especially the cockpit is different resulting in a different interior plan. The F35 has an aft cabin arrangement I believe.

Re: Mast wiring conduit
Thanks to all for your input and suggestions. I was consiidering a conduit because i wasnt happy with the way the wires are secured on my mast, though I have to admit I havent had any trouble and I believe its been secured in its method for probably as long as the masts have been in the boat ,1982. ...

Re: FREEDOM YACHT MAST REPAIR
Raven, Im wondering how your masts have held up? The job you did looks great in the pictures. Why did you choose fiberglass over dynel and did you go with one layer of the glass sock or two? I'm aabout to jump in and take the same plunge with Seasops masts. I like the idea of using the 207 Hardner a...

Re: Mast wiring conduit
So I guess im going to be the first to try and attempt to install a mast wiring conduit inside of the mast instead of the popular wiretie method. I have pulled out the original wiring bundle and was surprised to find that the original method of wrapping the wire bundle in a thick layer of foam neopr...

Mast wiring conduit
I am installing a combination masthead/decklight combination on the foremast of my F33. I have several questions. First has anyone succesfully installed a wiring conduit inside the mast? Particularly , by removing some of thesailtrack rivets and using those holes to then rivet both track and a pvc c...
