Re: Freedom 32 DK Survey
When searching for my F32 I encountered that same sour spot mentioned above on FOUR boats before found a dry hull. Some were small areas but one had spread far an wide.

Re: F32 Saloon Table??
Thought mine was fused to the floor but finally got it free. Lots of wiggly, tapping and cursing did the trick. Oh, one more trick. I got under it and pressed my back up into the table while my sweetie swiveled the top and tapped the tube. Now we used it more for sleeping than eating.

Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Made it through Michael okay
Excellent news! I wish everyone faired as well as you but guess that is not in the cards. Luck is the key. I learned that last year when Irma scooted by. For me, five miles further west and I would be crying. Luck was the savior.

Re: Dining table - How to lower
Mine seemed seized as well in the dining position. First, I used WD40 in the base. Then I rubber malletted the top so the post would at least twist left and right. Then I got on all fours and used my back to lift. Voila! The table post came out of the floor fitting. Now I interchange the short and t...

Re: How do I Install a Jib on the Camber Spar?
No secret to my F32 system.
1. Attach tack to the base of forestay at the deck.
2. Attach the jib to the halyard.
3. Insert the spar with the bow facing the sky.
4. Attach the spar wheel and guide to the forestay.
5. Hank the rest of the sail grommets
6. Secure the clew to spar.

Hoyt 32 CamberSpar sheave
Hello all ~ All I wanted to replace this 30 year old worn sheave. But, then I noticed the retainer at the end of the spar is frozen in place. I can turn it with water pumps but I don't think it should be that tight. Seems it would not rotate with the wind to give me proper shape on a tack. I'm I not...

Re: Zincs are going fast
The source of the zincs could be an issue. Is it possible some zincs are from China now? If, so all bets would be off imo. Mine are stamped CAMP which is made in the USA.

Hey! What is that stuff in the water around the boat? Looks like broken glass. Just curious.
