Re: Headlining
Sailmon, how did you attach it? Did you use the self adhesive ape to attach it or you used tape to make up f or loss of thickness and you used something else to attach it to the underdeck.

Hoisting and lowering the camberspar jib on F36
I am still learning the boat and managed to properly secure the cambespar as per Geoffs detailed instructions. :D My F36 jib I manage to hoist it by hand to about 3-4 feet from the top, but the last three to four feet I have to use the winch. Considering the size I was hoping I will not need the win...

Re: Camberspar fitting and adjustment
Geoff,
Thank you for detailed instructions. I managed to secure my camberspar and it is now nice and tight properly secured as you described. It seems that PO did not know how to attach it properly although it worked somewhat OK.

Geoff, I think I got it now. I'll try this over the weekend and see how successful I am.

Re: Camberspar fitting and adjustment
Thanks Geoff on detailed instructions. I am not entirely sure I understand the point #3. Wouldn't that cause the jib stay to sag backward when you are pulling on the clew of the sail when it is hanked on and raised? That would also push the camberspar backward. I'll have to see how is the fitting at...

Re: Camberspar fitting and adjustment
Geoff, I've tried fitting my jib camberspar similarly to yours on the lower photo but when I use the bolt between the grommets I am unable to secure the clew grommets on the horns similarly to your problem. My sail may be short same as yours. Now I know why the PO used the D shackle to bring the for...

Re: F36/38 Sugar scoop drain
Thanks kerry,
I'll try and plug mine with something now that I have launched it back in the water. It may be little harder to do then when it was on dry.

Re: Camberspar fitting and adjustment
Geoff,
Thank you so much. Second Photo is what I was looking for. My D slider is free to move because I did not pass the bolt through the grommets as per this photograph. I'll adjust my camberspar tomorrow.

Re: My F32 Keel bolts look to be intentionally not tightened
As Michel stated it is difficult to explain why would bolts be lose / not torqued. I've seen some horrible results of crevice corrosion eating up SS bolts which were submerged in sea water for prolonged period of time. I'll try and get some photographs of the boat I was looking at prior to buying my...
