Interior wood

Post by Saoirse »

I have a newly purchased 1987 F36. I was advised I should oil rub the interior wood to maintain? Does anyone have knowledge of how it was originally oil rubbed? I’ve been given different advice from multiple source sources, Tung oil, linseed oil, teak oil, pledge and Murphy oil. Any additional information would be appreciated. Thanks

The materials list for the F30 from around the same time lists Watco clear as the interior finish.

We just use Murphy's Oil Soap.
