Curtains in a F32

Post by joseph.syc »

As promised in another thread, attached are pictures of how the curtains in my F32 Hoyt are attached. I did not install the curtains; they were in the boat when I purchased.

Thank you very much! The same area in my 38 is all wood. I'm a little hesitant to drill into it but will figure out something. I wonder if anyone has made covers, similar to the winch covers, that would fit over the portlights?

I saw a 39 pilothouse (Quaker II) with mesh covers for the large pilothouse glazing. They also have interior curtains. Since the glazing is clear the mesh covers where snapped on when at port to both add some privacy while letting light in as well as added some UV protection. I thought they were a great idea (wished I had thought of it myself) and made a set of mesh and opaque which I use during storage.
