F45 Anchor washdown system

Post by pbfein »

Is anyone familiar with parts/workings of the anchor rode washdown spray tubes that exist on some Freedom 45s including mine? See the attached picture. In the anchor locker the tube ends have removable plugs. There is also a standard spigot with hose thread but no hose. Just unclear how the water connects and sprays out. Is there some water jet component that goes inside the tube?

Thanks,
Peter

Woah, I've never seen anything like that. Very curious to hear if this is a thing, or just something a previous owner did to your boat.

I though it might be unique to my boat but the blue F45 for sale on YW has the same holes in the bow. When I saw that, I figured this might have been an option and more boats out there have it installed.

Paul Dennis would know. Shoot him an email with that picture and he will settle this.
