I paid $900 US. He may be reluctant to take on the job though. I had the feeling that I caught him in a good mood. He’s currently working on producing old style rigs with modern materials.
Never hurts to ask though. Maybe you’ll catch him on a good day too.
At the very least he’s great to talk(listen) to. I learned a lot.
