I have a Hoyt gun mount spinnaker pole on my Freedom 32. I love using it, riding the bronco!
The problem is that the pole just kind of hangs there where not in use.
For hurricane season I usually lash it to a stanchion for stability...and had a makeshift chock that ultimately broke over a few years.
How does anyone make the aft end secure when the pole is retracted and not in use. The front stays really secure in the sleeve in the pulpit. I would love to see or hear any ideas, ways to secure it, chocks...anything.
Thanks,

Thanks, everyone.
The pole on the Freedom 32 is 4", so someone's suggestion to get davis adjustable rubber one worked! $11 Amazon.
All set...see how this goes next month when I return home.
