I was looking through some records at Paul Dennis's shop, and I came across a couple of running rigging lists for the Freedom 36/38 that he had modified at some point. The one in the manual is for the very earliest boats, and does not account for the switch to single-line reefing on the Isomat booms, so the reef line lengths are inapplicable for newer boats. It also recommends PVC coated wire rope for lazy jacks, which seems like a bad idea. Anyway, I scanned the two versions that Paul made so I could share them here. In addition to measurements for the Isomat reefing system, he also has recommendations for different lengths and diameters for some of the lines, modern equivalents for the listed rope materials, and splicing recommendations. Hopefully someone out there will find this useful!

Re: F36/F38 running rigging lists
Interesting. I have twice used the lengths published in the owners manual for my F40/40 and ended up significantly short. I won’t be relying on it any more.
