sternrail freedom 35

during hurricane sandy my starboard stern rail on my freedom 35 was busted. i need photographs/drawings to have a new one made. dholtkamp, s/v thumper

If your 35 is a Pedrick design try giving Paul Dennis at Warren River Boatworks in Warren, RI a call (401) 245-6949. He has a 35 that is being used for parts. I don't know if he has a stern rail because the boat has been pretty much stripped for parts, but if he doesn't he may know where to get one.

I can take pictures of mine is it helps.

I called Paul Dennis today with a question about my boat. While I was on the phone with him I asked whether or not the F35 he has still had the stern rail. It doesn't. That boat was involved in a collision that ruined that rail. He did say that that a company in the mid-west named White Water Marine has the original drawings. Here is their website:

As far as stainless steel fabrication goes I'm told (though I can't personally verify) that Horatio's Welding and Sheet Metal in New Bedford, MA does good work.
